Here you’ll find an overview of the initiatives that form the backbone of YATA’s work.
We regularly invite experts, researchers, and practitioners to share their knowledge on current security policy issues. Lectures and panel debates give you direct access to those who work and research in foreign, defence, and security policy.
YATA is a community. Our social events are where you meet people with the same interests. This is where new friendships and professional relationships — the foundation of YATA — are formed, often over a good beer.
YATA Perspectives is a member initiative created for those who want more than just to listen. Here, our members get a platform to present their own knowledge and receive professional feedback from like-minded peers. The format consists of regular events that strengthen the internal network and give you the opportunity to develop both your professional content and your communication skills in a safe and engaged space.
The Global Crisis Simulation is a crisis simulation or “wargame” where participants are given a role and placed in a high-pressure situation with limited information. YATA Denmark runs the simulation in collaboration with partners, bringing together participants with different academic, professional, and international backgrounds each year to practise diplomacy, political strategy, and crisis management in practice.
Information on YATA’s international collaborations is coming soon.
Join YATA Denmark and become part of a community that takes security policy seriously. Membership costs 75 DKK per year and gives you access to events, networking, and much more.
